Conclusion
During this time of pandemic,
addressing the needs of women
and girls with disabilities is of prime
importance. These include medical
supplies like medicines, vitamins,
supplements, hygiene products like
diapers or pads, medical services
such as regular check-ups, laboratory
tests and treatment, physical and/
or speech therapy, rehabilitation,
access to sign language interpreters,
personal assistants and sighted guides,
and access to assistive devices and
technologies. Access to transportation
is also an essential need.
