To verify the complaint hospital authority formed 4 member investigation team. Alleged Asaduzzaman was part time staff of the hospital and he has been fugitive since the incidence. The bench condemned the case and termed it “a murder” and also demanded exemplary punishment. The Full Bench decided to send following guideline to the government in accordance with article 12(1) of NHRC Act 2009. (1) Immediately ban the tips culture in all the public/private hospitals through spreading notice/circular. (2) Publicize that taking tips is punishable offence.
