It is also presumable that successful implementation of SDGs will enable us to combat climate change and its impact; pollution and degradation of environment will disappear. SDG-16 promises a lot more- the establishment of human rights by means of ensuring access to justice, rule of law, peace and harmony for all; that means implementation of SDGs will help building an inclusive society where all citizens including the marginalized ones, the persons with disabilities, the third gender or Hijra, the religious and ethnic minorities, Dalits, Horijons, Bede, Muchi etc all will be mainstreamed and none will be left behind. In this way the objectives of the cherished dreams of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will be reached and the visionary Sonar Bangla (Golden Bengal) will be transformed into reality paving the way for fulfilling of human rights in a sustainable manner.
