Article 27
1.
No one may be arbitrarily or unlawfully
prevented from leaving any country, including
his own, nor prohibited from residing, or
compelled to reside, in any part of that country.
2.
No one may be exiled from his country or
prohibited from returning thereto.
Article 28
Everyone has the right to seek political asylum in
another country in order to escape persecution.
This right may not be invoked by persons facing
prosecution for an offence under ordinary law.
Political refugees may not be extradited.
Article 29
1. Everyone has the right to nationality. No one
shall be arbitrarily or unlawfully deprived of
his nationality.
2. States parties shall take such measures as they
deem appropriate, in accordance with their
domestic laws on nationality, to allow a child
to acquire the mother’s nationality, having due
regard, in all cases, to the best interests of the
child.
3. Non one shall be denied the right to acquire
another nationality, having due regard for the
domestic legal procedures in his country.
