Highlights from 2021-2022 Supported the Cambodian government and stakeholders to explore the establishment of an NHRI. Partnered with UNFPA to conduct a study on integrating reproductive rights into the work of NHRIs in the Asia Pacific. Supported at-risk staff from the Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission with safe passage out of the country following Taliban takeover. The NHRI of Fiji was accredited by GANHRI with APF support. APF Annual Report 2021-2022 Delivered 14 capacity development activities to 276 NHRI participants, including four brand new courses. Strengthened NHRI leadership through the APF Leadership Outreach Program, High Level Dialogues, and APF Virtual Dialogue Series. Piloted the newly developed APF resource Facilitating an NHRI Gender Audit by conducting the first gender audit entirely remotely for the Office of the Ombudsman of Samoa. Supported APF members with strategic planning advice. Hosted an online dialogue with the UN Working Group on discrimination Against Women, as part of the APF Annual General Meeting (AGM). 9
