There were some schools that were very supportive of the Commission and demonstrated real commitment to making the programme successful. TERTIARY EDUCATION (a) Collaboration with Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) The Commission and UPSI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 22 February to enhance, encourage, and develop mutual cooperation pertaining to human rights, involving education, research, and community service for mutual benefit. Several activities will be implemented under this joint venture. In addition to these activities, the Commission will also be invited to conduct talks on human rights for the students, to encourage further interest in human rights issues, and to help the students to understand human rights concepts and principles better.
