a) Letter to be sent to DG, Department of Social Services to share the draft Act on Protecting Rights of Hijra with the NHRC b) Letter to be sent to concerned authorities to end medical test for identifying gender of Hijra population. c) Recommendation to be sent to the concerned authority to do medical test in presence of gender expert and psychologist if any doubt arises seeing the attitude of any Hijra person. Committee on Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Autism On 3rd April 2022, meeting of the thematic committee on Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Autism was held, chaired by the then Chairman of NHRC Nasima Begum, ndc. Following decisions were made at the meeting: 1) Dr. Anwar Ullah, Managing Director, NDD Trust, Ms. Farida Yasmin, Executive Director, DRRA, Md.
