Section 3: Understanding sexual harassment in the workplace The 2018 National Survey provides a clear picture of the pervasiveness of sexual harassment in Australian workplaces. It found that workplace sexual harassment is a common problem, with one-third (33%) of people indicating they had experienced sexual harassment at work in the last five years.6 Women were more likely than men to have experienced sexual harassment.
