That exceeds the identified performance standard of 75 per cent. Five private and public agencies provided feedback that the case studies are of value or great value, which met the performance standard of at least five agencies regarding the case studies as being valuable. This was a new performance measure, so no trend data is available. Therefore it did not deliver the measure and standard set at the beginning of the year. The Commission provided advice and guidance on the Disability Action Plan 2014–18 which was published in May 2014 by the Office for Disability Issues. The plan includes priority actions to support children with disabilities. Additionally, the Commission has been informed that the Ministry of Education has taken up the recommendations relating to inclusive education arising out of the Commission’s New Zealand Sign Language Inquiry.
