This included advice on the collection and publication of data on the employment of people with disabilities as well as suggested strategies for improving equal employment opportunities (EEO) outcomes. This fulfilled the performance measure of providing at least five instances of advice and guidance. Several instances of feedback (through citation or acknowledgement) were received from stakeholders who said that the Commission’s advice was valuable, thereby meeting the performance standard of at least three instances of positive feedback received. Public service departments indicated that the advice was of value in meeting their responsibilities to reduce structural discrimination in the workplace. This included commitments by Treasury to improve collection of ethnicity data and by the SSC to progress toward more harmonised data collection and improved pay gaps across the public service. This was a new performance measure, so no trend data is available.
