The state shall create conditions for the exercise of the rights and freedoms of young people and promote their comprehensive development. Article 41. Each person shall independently determine his attitude to religion, shall have the right, individually or jointly with others, to profess any religion or not to profess any, to express and disseminate beliefs related to the attitude to religion, to participate in religious rites. Article 42. Every person shall be guaranteed freedom of thought and speech. No one shall have the right to prohibit a person from freely expressing his opinion, as well as to prevent its dissemination in accordance with the law. No one can be forced to express their opinions and beliefs or to renounce them. Everyone shall have the right to freely search, receive and disseminate information in a manner not prohibited by law, with the exception of information containing a state or other legally protected secret. Article 43. Citizens shall be guaranteed freedom of assembly, meetings, demonstrations and other mass events in accordance with the procedure established by law. Article 44. Citizens shall have the right to establish political parties and other public associations operating within the limits of the Constitution and laws. The creation and activity of political parties and other public associations aimed at forcibly changing the constitutional order, allowing violence in their activities, opposing the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens, propagandizing war, hostility based on skin colour, national, religious hostility, encroaching on the health and morality of the people, as well as political parties on national or religious grounds shall be prohibited. Article 45. Citizens of Turkmenistan shall have the right to participate in managing the affairs of the society and state, either directly or through their freely elected representatives. Article 46. Citizens of Turkmenistan shall have the right to elect and be elected to the state authorities and local self-government bodies. Citizens of Turkmenistan, depending on their abilities and professional training, shall have equal right for access to public service. Citizens of Turkmenistan shall have the right to participate in administration of justice. Article 47. Everyone shall have the right to freely use their abilities and property for business and other economic activities not prohibited by law. Article 48. Law shall protect the right to private property.
