Some of those affected are children and youth under the age of 18, whether it is affected by the use of crowd control equipment and the use of artificial weapons, or the effects of tear gas. Some were suffering from noise for several days as well as suffering from the effects of constant feeling of insecurity, which is affecting mental health and the personal wellbeing and property damage. At present, there are no specific laws or regulations for those affected by violence or political conflict. In the past, actions by cabinet resolutions stipulated different remedies. Despite the implementation of the Cabinet resolutions on July 5, 2016 and June 13, 2017 that the Ministry of Finance together with relevant agencies establish laws or regulations, conditions and methods of assistance and remedies that cover all cases. However, at present, the regulations are still in the process of deliberation and no concrete progress has been made. As a result, Thailand still does not have laws, regulations, guidelines or standards that consider assistance and remedies for all these cases. This includes the remedies for those affected by the current violent events or political conflicts. Although, there are currently a number of remedial-related laws, some of which may be covered, that can provide relief from the impact of political violence, there are still certain difficulties in accessing remedies in both the legal dimension, access to information, and existing reparation mechanisms. As a result, people lose their right to receive remedies or support from the state. Therefore, there should be suggestions for amendments to the law on this issue. 4.
