allowance, leave allowance, etc. for the office bearers and staff and to provide for the activities
of the Commission.
The Commission has proposed an organizational structure of 46 personnel. As per this
structure, His Majesty’s Government has to depute to the Commission 4 first class and 9 second
class officers.
As the Commission by itself is not capable of providing to its staff various professional,
administrative and human rights related training, the government has to assist the Commission
in this regard.
The Commission expects active cooperation from the government, given that the latter has an
extremely important role to play in the protection, promotion and the effective implementation
of human rights.
