15. Employee remuneration
As a Crown entity, the Commission is required to disclose in its annual report the number of
employees receiving total remuneration of $100,000 or more per annum. Total remuneration includes
end-of-contract payments such as contractual notice pay and accrued leave entitlements but excludes
cessation payments. In compliance, the table below has been produced, which is in $10,000 bands to
preserve the privacy of individuals. Because Commissioners and the Director are not employees of
the Commission they are not included in the table.

Cessation payments
Cessation payments of $106,908 were paid to
two employees. One of these employees ceased
to be employed within the financial year ending
30 June 2023. The other employee is working for
an additional three months to cover a shortage
of staff. (2022: $308,631).
16. Events after balance date
There were no events after balance date that would have an impact on the Commission. (2022:
None).
