3. Kyrgyzstan 3.1. Introduction The Ombudsman Office of the Kyrgyz Republic monitors the government’s performance regarding the SDGs and does not carry out the SDGs activities directly.58 One of the targets that become the focus of the Ombudsman Office of the Kyrgyz Republic is Target 16.59 One of the obstacles faced by the Ombudsman Office of the Kyrgyz Republic is the lack of knowledge of the SDGs which has an impact on the non-optimal use of tools and methods regarding the SDGs.60 The Ombudsman Office of the Kyrgyz Republic also emphasized the importance of collaboration between parties in the implementation of the SDGs.61 3.2.
