Conversely, 31.3% responded otherwise. Among the reasons given for the feeling of danger or risk in the workplace include the lack of fire exits, OSH training, workplace certification, absence of drills and training, and evacuation areas, as well as the shortage or absence of PPEs, old machines or equipment, and dangerous work environments (high scaffolding/ prevalence of chemical-related odors, etc.). 61.5% of the respondents also stated that they were provided PPEs and other necessary equipment in hazardous workplaces. 58.8% reported that the company provided these for free, while 35.3% said that these were taken from their wages. 64.5% also expressed that their company provided them with OSH orientations and other forms of safety-related training, compared to the 35.5% percent that said their companies did not provide these.
