Daily Wages and Amenities
In terms of daily wages, more than half (19 or 54.29%) shared that they earned
either the legal minimum wage (537 in the NCR) or more (a maximum of 805 PHP).
However, most workers in this category were paid the minimum wage. On the
question of available benefits, a total of 26 respondents answered that 19 of them
(73.1%) received holiday pay, 22 (84.6%) were given overtime pay, 16 (61.5%)
enjoyed night differential compensation, and more than half (65.4%) were given
13th-month pay.
For amenities, the vast majority confirmed that they have regular lunch breaks and
decent places for these. Only 48% meanwhile reported enjoying at least 24-hour
day-offs, and only one could say for sure that they were allowed to choose when
to use their day-offs for religious purposes.
