This means that by ratifying the CRPD, countries are under the obligation to put in place a full range of measures to ensure that people with disabilities: • Accessibility – removing barriers to access health facilities, goods, and services imposed by economic, geographical, physical, and informational barriers • Acceptability – health facilities, goods, and services must be satisfactory, according to cultural traditions and standards of medical ethics 18
