The Top Ten Human Rights Tasks highlight the low birth rate/ageing and the widening polarization as the two highest priority tasks. Also on the list are institutional infrastructure such as the Act on the Prohibition of Discrimination and the Human Rights Education Act; protection of women, persons with disabilities, children, immigrants, and other vulnerable groups of people; human rights perspective in business management; increased protection of human rights as they relate to labor and the information society with the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution; increased guarantee of the basic right to freedom; building of a more human rightfriendly culture in the military; the right to environment for a healthy life; and improving human rights in North Korea through dialogue and international collaboration. President Moon’s five-year policy roadmap, which the special advisory committee announced in July, incorporates a significant portion of the Commission’s proposed Top Ten Human Rights Tasks.
