The APF enters into a dialogue with government and civil society representatives, assists in drafting legislation and otherwise provides advice on establishing NHRIs in compliance with the Paris Principles. In a number of cases, the APF provides advisory services in collaboration with other partners in the region, including OHCHR and the Pacific Islands Forum secretariat. 34
