Annual Report 2013–2014 APF e-Bulletin The APF published monthly issues of its newsletter, the APF Bulletin, to keep APF members, governments, NGOs and stakeholders informed of important policy, legal, administrative and training developments in the region. There are around 1,200 active subscribers to this service. The unique open rate has increased over the last year to 38%, which benchmarks well against the industry standard for nonprofit organisations with more than 1,000 subscribers of 25%. The average ‘clicks’ to articles has also increased and was in the range of 41% to 57% in 2013–14, substantially more that the industry average of 3.25%. All this indicates that the APF Bulletin, distributed 11 times during 2013–14, has been well utilised by subscribers and is an effective tool in drawing visitors to the site. Members’ high rating of the relevance of the bulletin returned to the long-term average median rating of 4 out of 5. APF Bulletin, June 2014 issue. Email broadcasts Throughout the year regular email broadcasts were sent to Forum Councillors and their nominated staff contacts. These email broadcasts covered a range of APF specific thematic and operational issues. In addition, the APF acts as the relevant communication channel for correspondence from the UN and the ICC.
