Over the last five years since the introduction of this program, CAs have been conducted with the following NHRIs: • Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (2008) • Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (2009) • Jordan National Centre for Human Rights (2010) • National Human Rights Commission of Thailand (2010) • Palestinian Independent Commission for Human Rights (2011) • Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission (2011) • National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia (2011) • Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (2012) • Australian Human Rights Commission (2012) • Philippines Commission on Human Rights (2012), and • New Zealand Human Rights Commission (2012). During the reporting period, the APF facilitated a CA with the following five NHRIs: • National Human Rights Commission of Nepal (2-22 July 2013) • National Human Rights Commission of Bangladesh (1-11 December 2013) • National Human Rights Commission of Oman (preliminary visit from 13-15 January 2014 and assessment from 2-13 March 2014) • Ombudsman of Samoa (13-21 February 2014), and • Indonesian National Commission on Human Rights (12-23 May 2014). In addition, at the request of the National Human Rights Commission of Bangladesh and the UNDP country office, the APF returned to Bangladesh twice during the reporting period to assist the Commission and UNDP to plan for the implementation of the CA recommendations.
