What data does the Government have about the use of the ‘Ashley Treatment’ or growth attenuation procedures by New Zealand citizens? What does the Government propose to do about people who travel overseas for these procedures and then return to New Zealand for follow up treatment? 14. Immigration refusal of residency on the grounds of not meeting an ‘acceptable standard of health’ – Article 18 a.) In the past five years, how many people have been refused residency in New Zealand on the grounds that they did not meet an acceptable standard of health? b.) How many appeals have been taken and how many have been successful/unsuccessful over decisions to refuse residency on the grounds of unacceptable standard of health? c.) How many children born in New Zealand to non-resident parents have been refused residency on the ground of not having an acceptable standard of health? d.)
