8. THE WAY FORWARD The Commission cannot but heed the interconnectedness of the domestic and international dimensions of human rights promotion and protection. Thus, in carrying out its duty to advance the human rights agenda in the country, the Commission will continue to pursue a pathway that also gives priority to its international presence.
